Oak Run Elementary, a public Montessori School would like to invite our community at large to support our school’s fall fundraiser, Family Harvest Feast and Hoedown! On Saturday, October 10th, we are inviting school families, friends, and other community supporters to join us for a home cooked dinner with fresh, local, organic produce and wood-fired BBQ. Live entertainment will be provided by The Buckhorn Mountain Stompers, the north state’s favorite folk music performers, guaranteed to get attendees dancing! The event will take place at our beautiful school in the mountains, and additionally we’ll have student performances, activities for children, and many auction items from local artists, businesses, and students!
Proceeds from the event and auction will be used for Oak Run students’ enrichment activities, such as Nature Connection and Ancestral Skills, field trips, a music program, dance classes, and more! These activities will complement our students classroom-based experiences in Oak Run’s inaugural year as a public Montessori school.
