Thank you Oak Run community for supporting our school fundraiser and attending our Open House-Pot Luck-Pie Auction. It was the first Pie Auction, but definitely not the last.  John Smith, you were a perfect auctioneer! Thanks for taking on that important role. The event wouldn’t have happened without the planning and baking from our parent volunteers, especially Montara Strawn, LeeAnn Mollath, and Angela Simonis (and ALL of the other’s who brought pies)!  We had quite the delicious assortment of pies for sale, such as: chocolate cream, cherry cream cheese, chocolate avocado, apple cranberry, pumpkin, apple, raw strawberry, blackberry, coconut cream, lemon meringue, chocolate mousse, pecan and more!  The highest bid was $230 for a single pie and every bit worth the money! The money we made goes directly to field trips and activities for the students of Oak Run School.  Again, we have so much gratitude for our community at large! Until next time, I will be dreaming about the next cherry cream cheese pie at our 2nd Annual Pie Auction!
