Independent Study/ Homeschool
Oak Run Elementary’s Homeschool Program offers flexible, supported learning for families who want to educate their children at home — without doing it alone. Designed for students in TK through 8th grade, the program pairs your family with a dedicated teacher who provides weekly assignments in Language Arts, History/Social Studies, Science, and Math, while giving you the freedom to use your own curriculum and lessons if you prefer. Teachers meet with families regularly — weekly or every other week during the first month, then at least once a month once your routine is established, with home visits available depending on your needs. To help make learning at home even more accessible, the program offers funding support: up to $500 for internet, up to $1,500 for enrichment programs, and up to $500 for non-faith-based curriculum materials and supplies. It’s a program built around one goal — finding the right fit for your family.
